Statistics: Russia’s inflation at 0.1% in April 3–Monday
MOSCOW, Apr 11 (PRIME) -- Russian consumer prices rose 0.1% for a sixth consecutive week from April 3 through Monday, and reached 0.9% since January 1, the Federal State Statistics Service said in a report on Wednesday.
In the reported period, egg prices increased by 1.2%, sugar and pork prices by 0.6%, and prices for millet by 0.4%.
Buckwheat prices fell 0.9%, and canned meat, milk, sunflower oil and flour became 0.2–0.3% cheaper.
Fruit and vegetable prices increased 1.2% on average. Cabbage, potato, carrot, and tomato prices rose 1.9–3.5%, but cucumber prices fell 1.7%.
Gasoline prices rose 0.1% and diesel fuel prices increased 0.2%.
